Espresso Thy Art is a locally owned coffee shop at the busy intersection of Irving Park-Damen-Lincoln that merges an art studio with a cafe. A family of the current owners used to own a Filipino Bakery at the same location from 1987 to December 2007. Owned by three sisters, Espresso Thy Art servers tasty cappuccino and offers one-of-a-kind artwork for sale by local artists. Rossana Reformado, one of the owners, has her artwork displayed at the cafe and at times you may see her creating her artwork in studio area. Marissa and Virginia, the other owners, as well as several family members can be found working at the cafe.

The caf offers free wi-fi for all customers that purchase something. Most pastries are baked in-house and a variety of fresh breakfast and lunch items are served. Some of the items not to miss are the freshly made crepes, Belgian waffles, salads, and smoothies. The coffee is top notch and specially roasted for the caf. It is ground in-house and handcrafted to each customer order. The patio has tables and chairs for enjoying your coffee and meal outside during warmer weather. The sisters also grow fresh herbs and flowers in the backyard garden.

The fee of $6 in advance will cover your first beverage and snacks. The fee at the door will be $15 if there is space still remaining. You may select from a variety of coffees as well as loose leaf teas by Might Leaf such as mint chocolate truffle.

While sipping our cappuccino or tea, we will discuss how local businesses such as Espresso Thy Art are using social media Web sites like Facebook and Twitter to connect with their customers.
